Our Mission

• To carry on Tracy's legacy by providing various scholarship opportunities to individuals who strive to attend institutions of  higher learning. 
• To facilitate opportunity for today's young adults when life's goals are challenged by a diagnosis of cancer.
• To continue Tracy's legacy by acknowledging young people who have a positive caring attitude and continually smile even in the face of adversity.

The Tracy Heidenfelder Memorial Scholarships
A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Valley Stream Central High School student who meets the following criteria:
1.  Student participates in volleyball
2.  Student has a GPA of 85 or better
3.  Student will continue on to a four year college
4.  Student is in good standing

Our second $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating Valley Stream Central High School student who meets the following criteria:
1.  Student participates in orchestra
2.  Student has a GPA of 85 or better
3.  Student will continue on to a four year college
4.  Student is in good standing

Beautifully Reckless, The Tracy Heidenfelder Memorial Scholarship
A $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who is an active participant at St. Nicholas of Myra NYC and meets the following criteria:
1.  Student has a GPA of 85 or better
2.  Student will continue on to a two or four year college
3.  Student is involved in at least one extra curricular school activity
4.  Student is in good standing

No Bad Hair Days
While undergoing chemotherapy one of the most devastating side effects a patient has to deal with is the loss of their hair.  This $50 check will be offered one time to all women who meet the following criteria.  We know that this will not lessen the heartbreak, but we hope that it will make the financial burden of purchasing a wig a little easier.

Eligibility Requirements:

1)  Diagnosed with cancer and undergoing chemotherapy (written note from accredited oncologist)

2)  Copy of receipt for wig purchased

Because We Care
Beautifully Reckless is here to help our Valley Stream neighbors who are battling cancer.  If you know of anyone in our Valley Stream community that has been diagnosed with cancer and are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments please send us an email. We send gift cards for basic necessities from Beautifully Reckless as our way of saying we care.  All information will be verified but kept strictly confidential.
